Hello students and parents,

Each week at school, students attend my classroom to learn new concepts in an exciting way. STEM is a fun way to learn science, technology, engineering, and math. I have some easy ways for students to have fun at home, while learning important STEM concepts. I wanted to send you some attachments for easy STEM at home ideas that use items that you can find around your house.

The first attachment has 3 STEM at home menus. Parents may print out each menu and each week, students can try and complete as many activities on one menu as possible. These activities are designed to be used for 3 consecutive weeks.

I have also attached 3 weeks of Maker Stations STEM activities. Parents will need to print out the instruction cards with the supply list and QR code (take a picture on your phone, and it will take you the website). Students will use The Scientific Inquiry Process on student planning and reflection sheets to complete the activity. Instructions also are given in the file.

I hope that you can implement these in your home as a fun way to keep children engaged and excited about STEM.

Thank you!

Here is a fun science experiment to try at home. It is easy and shows children the importance of washing their hands.
